Leap and Sip retains the right to decline the provision of our services if we believe it is necessary or within reason. We may choose to decline services for various reasons, including but not limited to:

  • If the location or circumstances pose a safety risk to our staff or other attendees.
  • If we encounter any behavior or conditions that violate local laws or regulations.
  • If we are unable to provide services due to unforeseen circumstances or emergencies.

In the event that we choose to decline services, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an explanation and, if applicable, discuss alternative solutions. We are committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all parties involved.

Leap and Sip reserves the right to exercise this discretion as needed to maintain the quality and integrity of our services and to comply with legal and ethical obligations.

9. Cancellation Policy

At Leap & Sip, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may necessitate the cancellation of your event. We strive to be accommodating and fair to our clients. However, please be aware of the following cancellation policy:

  • If you need to cancel your event before the date has been secured and before the issuance of an invoice, you may do so without incurring any cancellation fees. We will refund any deposit or payments made in full.
  • Once the date has been secured, a 50% deposit is required to hold your reservation. If you decide to cancel after this point, no refunds will be provided. This is due to the commitment of resources, planning, and preparation that we undertake in advance of the event.

We recommend that you contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your event to discuss any possible alternatives or rescheduling options.

In the event that Leap and Sip needs to cancel an event for any reason, we will make every effort to provide a suitable alternative date or solution, and a full refund will be offered.

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we will work with you to ensure a fair and equitable resolution in case of any cancellations.

Leap and Sip remains committed to providing you with excellent service, and we appreciate your understanding of our cancellation policy.

10. Payment Schedule and Consequences of Non-Payment

To ensure the smooth execution of your event and to allow us to make the necessary preparations, please note the following payment schedule:

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your event date, as outlined in our Cancellation Policy (Section 9).
  • The remaining 50% of the payment is due no later than 6 weeks prior to the scheduled event date.

If the remaining 50% of the payment is not received by the specified due date, the following consequences will apply:

  • Services will not be rendered, and we will not be able to provide the mobile bar services for your event.
  • The initial 50% deposit made at the time of securing the date will be considered forfeited. No refunds will be provided.

We understand that unexpected situations may arise, and we encourage you to communicate with us should you encounter difficulties in meeting the payment deadline. We may, at our discretion, consider alternative arrangements on a case-by-case basis.

Your timely payment is essential to ensure a successful and enjoyable event, and we appreciate your understanding of our payment schedule and its associated consequences.

Please make the final payment as specified to avoid any disruptions to your event plans. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the payment schedule, feel free to reach out to us for clarification and assistance.

11. Client's Responsibilities for Event Venue

We want to ensure the smooth and successful execution of your event. To that end, the client is responsible for the following:

  • Access to the Venue: The client shall ensure that access to the event venue is available at the designated time as agreed upon in the event contract. This includes making arrangements with the venue management for any necessary access codes, keys, or other requirements.
  • Space for Bar Setup: The client must provide adequate and safe space for the setup of our mobile bar and associated equipment. The dimensions and requirements for the bar setup will be communicated by [Your Mobile Bar's Name] during the planning process. Please ensure that the designated space is clear and ready for setup before our team's arrival.
  • Electricity: If our mobile bar setup requires electricity for the operation of equipment (e.g., refrigeration, lighting), the client shall ensure that a power source is available at the setup location. Any specific electrical requirements will be communicated in advance, and it is the client's responsibility to coordinate this with the venue if needed.
  • Accessibility and Safety: The client is responsible for ensuring that the venue is accessible and safe for our staff during the event. This includes providing clear pathways, addressing any safety concerns, and informing us of any potential hazards in the venue.
  • Compliance with Venue Rules and Regulations: The client is responsible for complying with all rules and regulations set forth by the event venue. This includes but is not limited to alcohol policies, health and safety guidelines, and any venue-specific requirements. Any fees or fines imposed by the venue due to non-compliance will be the client's responsibility.

Failure to fulfill these responsibilities may result in disruptions to the event or additional costs, for which the client shall be held responsible.

By booking Leap and Sip for your event, you agree to uphold these responsibilities to ensure the success and safety of the event. If you have any questions or require further clarification regarding your responsibilities, please contact us in advance of the event to discuss any specific requirements. We are here to assist you in any way we can to make your event a memorable and enjoyable experience for all.

12. Indemnification

a. Client's Indemnification: The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Leap & Sip, its agents, employees, and affiliates, from and against any and all claims, demands, suits, or actions, including legal fees, arising out of or related to the event, including but not limited to:

  • Any injury to persons or damage to property that occurs in connection with the event.
  • Any violations of local laws, regulations, or venue rules by the client or event attendees.
  • Any disputes, liabilities, or costs related to the event, except where such claims result from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Leap and Sip.

b. Leap and Sip's Indemnification: Leap and Sip agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the client from and against any claims, demands, suits, or actions, including legal fees, arising out of or related to the event, to the extent that such claims result from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Leap and Sip.

c. Notice: The party seeking indemnification shall provide prompt written notice to the other party of any claim or action for which indemnification may be sought. Failure to provide timely notice may relieve the indemnifying party of its obligations under this clause.

d. Procedure: In the event of a claim or action, the indemnified party shall have the right to participate in the defense at its own expense. The indemnifying party shall not settle any claim without the written consent of the indemnified party, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld.

e. Limitations: This indemnification provision shall not apply to the extent that a claim arises from the combined negligence or misconduct of both parties.

f. Survival: This indemnification clause shall survive the completion of the event and the termination of the agreement.

By booking Leap and Sip for your event, both parties acknowledge and accept their respective responsibilities and liabilities as outlined in this indemnification clause. This clause is intended to ensure the fair allocation of risks and liabilities associated with the event.

By booking our mobile bar services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described herein.

Thank you for choosing Leap and Sip for your event!
